Stage 4 Sat 28 June 2008 (11.5 miles) Walk from Lyford Grange to English Martyrs, Didcot Newbury Circle co-ordinate. For general information please download here PLEASE NOTE …Walkers who are starting at Lyford Grange should arrive there at 10.am. A map of how to get to the Grange can be downloaded here. We will stop half way at the Red Lion in Drayton, for lunch. The landlord has agreed to keep the kitchen open past 2pm for us, but you must order your choice from the menu through me by 10th June. Download Menu During lunch we will be joined by other brothers, wives and friends who will walk the second half with us. Those of you who are planning to do this should arrive at the Red Lion at approx 1.30. …Again, it will help if some of your cars are left at Didcot beforehand. We will leave the pub in time to arrive at English Martyrs, Didcot, by 5.30 - 6pm….what a perfect choice of church for this pilgrimage walk. Mass is at 6.30pm. Fr. David, at English Martyrs, has made a room available for refreshments. If we arrive early, perhaps we can collect cars from the start before mass, otherwise we will do it afterwards. There will be a non walker available all day, with a mobile phone and car, to pick up any sprained ankles etc. on the day.
